Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WillowDesk ("the site") handles information when you visit willowdesk.org. WillowDesk is a static, informational website. It does not operate user accounts, run advertising networks, or sell data.
Information the site stores
WillowDesk uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only: to remember whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice, so the notice is not shown repeatedly. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
The contact form
The contact form on the home page is handled entirely within your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates a confirmation and clears the fields. The information you type — name, email, phone, and message — is not sent over the network, stored on a server, or shared. If you email the site directly, your message and address are received by email in the ordinary way and used only to reply.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not embed third-party trackers. The only stored value is the local-storage cookie-notice preference described above, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.
External content
Article images are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When an image loads, your browser contacts that host, which may receive standard request information such as your IP address, as with any external image. WillowDesk does not control Wikimedia's practices; see the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy for details.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
